About the Foundation

The foundation was established in memory of Karen's legacy of love, strong will and compassion. It is an honor to be able to help breast cancer fighters and survivors preserve or reclaim their self-esteem, their pride, and identity in her memory.

To date, the foundation has provided financial funding breast cancer survivors to receive post surgical occupational therapy, direct financial assistance to survivors in need and wigs for women undergoing chemotherapy. In 2013, our foundation made a $5000.00 donation to Candy’s place which was earmarked for occupational therapy and other services for women with breast cancer. The services were not covered by insurance so they were much needed funds.

In addition, in Karen’s memory we also helped six very financially strapped women undergoing therapy for breast cancer. Some of these women don’t even have gas money to get to chemo appointments so they are very grateful. We also bought a hair piece for another woman.

Help us honor Karen's life by helping women who struggle in the fight against cancer.
